Chautauqua - Steve Baker, "The Disorderly Animal in Contemporary Art" Tonight 7:30 PM O'Donnell Hall

  
Steve Baker, animal studies pioneer, artist, author and critic will present his Chautauqua lecture and Keynote Address for the 3rd Biennial “Living With Animals” Conference, on the topic, “The Disorderly Animal in Contemporary Art,” tonight at 7:30 PM in O'Donnell Hall of the Whitlock Building. Free and open to the public. Attendance slips provided.

Dr. Steve Baker is Emeritus Professor of Art History at the University of Central Lancashire in England and a trustee of the Norfolk Contemporary Art Society. A seminal figure in the field of Animal Studies, Baker is the author, most recently, of "ARTIST|ANIMAL," in addition to many previous books including "The Postmodern Animal" and "Picturing the Beast: Animals, Identity, and Representation."
