Textbooks to Africa

Donate your textbooks! EKU's chapter of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the Geography Honor Society, is collecting Textbooks for Africa. We are working through the non-profit www.booksforafrica.org.

We have FOUR drop off locations: Roark 211, Moore 320, Dizney 208, and inside the Admissions Office in the Whitlock building. If you would like us to pick up books for you, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Many courses at African colleges and universities are taught in English. The subject areas in most need are social sciences, humanities, technology, business, natural sciences, engineering, biological sciences, and agriculture (but other textbooks are also welcome!). Books more than 15 years old, magazines, academic journals, religious books, novels, paperback books, encyclopedias, and books focused on the U.S. (i.e. U.S. history or law) are not needed.

Event Date: March 22  On-going  Location: Roark 211, Moore 320, Dizney 208, Admissions Office
Contact Information: Larissa Watkins, Kelly Watson, 859-622-1419
