Florence Winter Info Session
Come by Keith 129 on Wednesday at 4:00 pm to find out about the Florence Winter program! Students will study the integration of foods and nutrition, fashion and apparel, and children and families within the context of the Italian culture. The course will emphasize the interdisciplinary nature of these fields and the benefits to individuals, families, and communities. Students will access the rich resources of Florence by visiting food markets, wineries and culinary schools, fashion design houses, programs for children and families, and textile factories. Potential volunteer and service learning opportunities exist in programs servicing children and families and also with industry during fashion week. Gen Ed Element VI.
