3rd Annual Food Drive
November is Hunger Awareness Month. EKU students suffer from food insecurities as do many college students.
Food insecurity - the lack of access to sufficient quantities of affordable, nutritious food - undermining the educational success of students.
•1 in 6 EKU students experience food insecurity during the first semester on campus;
•21% of EKU students might need food assistance at some point during their college experience; and
•10% of EKU students could benefit from regular food pantry assistance.
Students volunteers are needed to sort donations in Colonel's Cupboard - sign up through OrgSync!
Partner with us to fight hunger and beat last year's 6,099 pounds of donated foods!
