Fill the Truck for EKU Students
Military & Veterans Affairs is parking a white, four-door Ford F-150 truck in front of the Burnam House again for the 3rd Annual Hunger Awareness Food Drive. Community members can easily drop off food and toiletry donations to benefit Colonel’s Cupboard.
Help fill the truck November 13-17, Mon-Fri, 8-6pm in front of the Burnam House on Lancaster Avenue.
“Take that little bit of extra stress off that student’s plate and replace with food instead.”
•1 in 6 EKU students experience food insecurity during the first semester on campus;
•21% of EKU students might need food assistance at some point during their college experience; and
•10% of EKU students could benefit from regular food pantry assistance.
Donations accepted across campus throughout November!
