How to Understand and Address Suicide in Your Communities

  
This all-day workshop will broach the issue of suicide in both faith-based and clinical settings and meets the criteria for those needing to complete mandatory training in suicide assessment, intervention, and management training as a condition of licensure renewal.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy suicide prevention skills and proposed minimum standards for preventing suicide in clinical settings as well as specific content around building clergy competency in addressing the needs of those at risk for or impacted by suicide will be presented.

Presenters include: Dr. Frank Campbell, Rabbi Daniel Roberts, Dr. David Maynard, and Father Steve Roberts.

CEUs have been applied for social workers, licensed psychologists, licensed professional counselors, licensed alcohol and drug counselors, and licensed marriage and family therapists.
