The Environmental Health Science Club is hosting the 23rd Annual Environmental Health Science Symposium on March 27, 2018. The following sessions are available to attend:

"Forging University and State Public Health Department" presented by Brian Byrd, Western Carolina University

"Occupational Health Issues from Silica Exposure" presented by Douglas W. Peters, Environmental Health Management

"Assuring Compliance with Environmental Regulations in the Electric Utility Industry" presented by Bobby Webb, East Kentucky Power Cooperative

"The Great American Solar Eclipse: Environmental Health Issues" keynote speaker Blake Johnson, Christian County Health Department

"Vector Biology and Public Health Implications" presented by Paul Bellamy, University of Kentucky

"Nostalgic" presented by Zach Grayson, Henderson Services

"Antibiotic Resistance; Failure of a Stewardship Collaboration?" presented by Shannon Shumaker, Eastern Kentucky University

“A Day in the Life of the Local Environmentalist” presented by Dan Troutman from Boyle County Health Department

Students can attend individual sessions for free.
