National Roll Call - Call for Volunteers
On Friday, November 9, the Office of Military & Veteran Affairs will host the 2018 National Roll Call from 6:00 am – 1:30 pm in front of the Veterans Memorial Wall in Powell Plaza. This is a national reading of the names of all of our fallen servicemembers from recent military conflicts. Last year, we read approximately 7,000 names.
Volunteers will read with a partner volunteer from a list of names for approximately 15 minutes. This grass roots effort is designed to honor our military veterans by saying their name out loud in remembrance. If you would like to volunteer, please click "more on this announcement" to select a 15-minute time slot to read names. This link is also located at www.va.eku.edu on the bottom right under “Events.” Volunteers will be contacted after November 1st with their assigned time to read.
