Philosophy and Religious Studies Roundtable
Please join the Philosophy and Religious Studies Program for a roundtable discussion on "The Critique of Religion in Nineteenth-Century German Philosophy," led by EKU Professor Todd Gooch. We will discuss the ideas of Ludwig Feuerbach, the author of a famous book called The Essence of Christianity (1841), who was an important influence on the young Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, and later on Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis. Roundtable discussions are open to all EKU students, faculty, and staff.
