Philosophy and Religious Studies Roundtable
Please join the Philosophy and Religious Studies Program for a roundtable discussion on "The Critique of Religion in Nineteenth-Century German Philosophy," led by EKU Professor Todd Gooch. We will discuss the ideas of Ludwig Feuerbach, the author of a famous book called The Essence of Christianity (1841), who was an important influence on the young Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, and later on Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis.
