American Woodcock Viewing

It's a great time of year to hear woodcock calling and to see their amazing display flights at Taylor Fork Ecological Area. They begin calling and displaying after sunset, as it’s getting dark. They’ll begin flying and whirring their wings with a buzzy display flight.
Binoculars are not necessary. The trip will take approximately one hour.
Please dress for the weather. The paths are mowed, you will require sturdy walking shoes.
