Tree Campus USA: American Chestnut Orchard Workday
Want to be a part of helping improve EKU’s nationally recognized chestnut orchard? Join us by volunteering! This would be a great opportunity to receive service hours, interact with various organizations at the display booths, and learn more about the American Chestnut Tree’s ecological importance. Transportation will be provided from a campus parking lot to the orchard. More information can be found on our website.
Please bring water, snacks, work gloves, and any weed removal implements that you may own. Dress for the weather, including rain gear if rain is in the forecast, or a hat and sunscreen. Long pants and closed toe shoes are recommended!
