Philosophy & Religious Studies: Why Did Buddha and Jesus Die?
Buddhist and Christian thinkers continue to disagree about what the deaths of Buddha and Jesus mean. In this presentation we will learn about recent interpretations, and we will examine what early Buddhist and Christian sources say about the death of Buddha and Jesus. Led by Dr. Abraham Velez, Professor of Philosophy, EKU Department of History, Philosophy, and Religious Studies. Roundtable discussions are open to all EKU students, faculty, and staff.
