Recruiting for local AmeriCorps KY Ready Corps positions!
Still looking for part-time, meaningful work? Serve with our KY Ready Corps program! We need to fill three (3) service slots this fall or fall/spring, two members in Lancaster with the Catholic Action Center's food insecurity/sustainable garden project, and one member who is a native speaker of Spanish to serve at Global Lex/City of Lexington in Hispanic/Latino community outreach regarding COVID-19. Benefits include a modest living allowance and education award that can be used for tuition or student loan payoff. AmeriCorps also offers a student loan forbearance while serving, and assistance with student loan interest payments.
