AmeriCorps KY Ready Corps hiring for Spring and Summer 2021!
KY Ready Corps, an EKU AmeriCorps program, seeks two members to serve part-time in Lancaster in spring and/or spring/summer 2021! This is a sustainable garden project sponsored by the Catholic Action Center in Lexington. Duties would include garden preparation, planting and greenhouse work, and in summer, garden maintaining, harvesting and distribution to food insecure individuals in Lancaster and surrounding counties. Must love outdoors and working with a team! Benefits include a modest living allowance, an education award for tuition, student loans and supplies, as well as the satisfaction of giving back to the community.
