Join us for a comprehensive, entirely upfront, and very personal presentation on serving in the US Peace Corps on Monday, May 4, from 3 to 4 pm, in the Noel Studio Discovery Classroom. Listen to Miles Owen, EKU Honors Program Class of 2012 and the only Truman Scholar in the history of this institution, talk about his experiences serving in the US Peace Corps in the Pacific island nation of Fiji from 2012 to 2014. Miles will cover details about living and working in developing nations and the mission of the US Peace Corps.
The presentation will be preceded by a brief overview of the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Program and the opportunities it presents to EKU students.
Free and open to the public. Proof of attendance will be provided.
