The Nursing Student Network is partnering with the Madison County Public Library to collect and distribute children’s books for Christmas and we need your help.
What we need: Books. Lots of books. Books should be appropriate for kids below the age of 10. Book condition should be new or with little wear and tear.
Where: Collection bins will be located on the 2nd floor of Rowlett in the hallway beside the restrooms.
When: All book donations should be dropped off no later than December 2nd.

The Nursing Student Network is sponsoring a “Soap Drive” for Hope’s Wings (a local non-profit shelter for victims of domestic violence).
Items needed: body wash and shampoo (for adults and kids), laundry detergent and dishwashing soap.

We Heard You! EKU Dining has listened to everyone's suggestions and are proud to announce many improvements for the Fresh Food Company in Upstairs Powell.
In the Deli Station, there are now four different options of deli meats along with 3 different options of cheeses.
In the Grill Station, there will now be one featured entree while you have the choice of an additional four Made-to-Order entrees.
In the Comfort Station, there will be an added entree to make a total of two options of entrees.
Finally, in the Bakery Station, you will now have a choice of four different flavors of cookies!

For students registered with the Office of Services for Individuals with Disabilities who receive testing accommodations, please be aware that the deadline to schedule final exams with our office is 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2nd.
Again, the deadline to schedule final exams in the OSID is
Wednesday, Dec. 2nd at 4 p.m.
Regular testing lab hours apply (7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), so be sure to schedule your exams early enough in the day to get your accommodated time according to your reasonable accommodations letter.
