The Noel Studio will host a Writing Retreat for students currently working on dissertations, graduate and Honors theses, and capstone courses. This four-day workshop will provide a supportive environment in which participants will develop goals and use structured time to write. Registration will be capped at 12, and participants must commit to attending all four sessions. Drinks, snacks, and dinner will be provided.

Completing a successful semester takes focus and vision. Join the EKUCC Table Talk Group for a two-part workshop to help you get in formation for a semester of success. Table Talk seeks to promote the development (social, emotional, and cultural/identity) and academic success of minority students. The informal group will meet on Thursdays at 11 AM through 4/14. Get In Formation will be the first in this series and begins at 11 AM on 2/11/16.

Come to celebrate the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Monkey, and learn more about the Asian Studies Program at Eastern Kentucky University. Asian snacks and refreshments will be served. Co-sponsored by SGA’s Student Activities Council and the UNICEF Club at Model Lab School, the celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, February 16, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, at 163 Case Annex. All are welcome and invited. The Asian Studies Program offers a minor (18 credits) and a certificate (12 credits).
