Celebrate the Lunar New Year, the Year of the Monkey, and learn more about the Asian Studies Program at EKU. Asian snacks and refreshments will be served. Co-sponsored by SGA’s Student Activities Council and the UNICEF Club at Model Lab School, the celebration is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at 163 Case Annex. All are welcome and invited. The Asian Studies Program offers a minor (18 credits) and a certificate (12 credits). Celebrate Women's History Month with EKU Libraries and Special Collections and Archives. A selection of students from Dr. Tom Appleton's class will give presentations on Mae Street Kidd, businesswoman, politician, and civic leader; Rosemary Clooney, singer and actress; and Billie Jean Osborne, music teacher and founder of Kentucky's Mountain Arts Center.

Come to the main library between 3:30 and 5:30 and write a note to someone who has sacrificed so much to serve our country! While you are there you can also learn more about the FREE tutoring services in our EKU residence halls! Hope to see you there!

SGA is hosting the Spring 2016 RSO appropriations on February 23 at 5:30 p.m. in the Kennamer room of the Powell Building. Organizations eligible to receiving funding are urged to attend this senate/appropriations meeting.
