The Computer Information Systems (CIS) Student Club does not require dues. It only requires that you be a current EKU student. Anyone interested in talking and learning about computers is welcome to attend. Our first meeting of the semester will be tomorrow, Tuesday, August 23, at 4:45PM There is no program or agenda for the first meeting. Instead, we will meet-and-greet and brainstorm ideas for the upcoming semester.

Last year, EKU Mock Trial had a historic year, with a program-record three first-place finishes and another appearance at the AMTA National Championship Tournament. Will we be able to top that performance? That depends on you! Come hear about the EKU Mock Trial experience from students and faculty. Audition signups will be available at the meeting. Students selected for the team will earn course credit (GSD/POL 466, 2 credits per semester) while traveling the country and competing as attorneys and/or witnesses. There will be two information sessions:
Tuesday, August 23, 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday, August 24, 4:30 p.m. Both sessions will be held in the Noel Studio Discovery Classroom. Students who cannot make the sessions should inquire via email to thomas.parker@eku.edu. For more information, please visit the EKU Mock Trial website at http://mocktrial.eku.edu/.
