Participate in the Fitness department's Spring Break Check List Incentive Program and be entered to win a shopping spree! Participants must attend 11 group fitness classes in order to be entered to win. The challenge will run from February 12-March 10. Tone up, lean out, and get in great shape before spring break!

Kid's Night Out is a great opportunity for a child you know to enjoy a variety of activities including games, an inflatable, rock climbing, and festive crafts with friends and peers. Parents can drop off children on March 17th at 5 p.m. at the Fitness and Wellness Center and they will be waiting for pickup at 9 p.m. Register children for the event at the Fitness and Wellness Center Welcome desk or complete one registration form per child on our website. Fitness and Wellness Center members: $25 for the first child, $20 for each additional child. Non-Members: $30 for the first child, $25 for each additional child. **We will accept pre-registrations until March 16. There will be a minimum enrollment of 10 children and a maximum of 50 children. We will accept walk-in registrations the day of the event only if we have not reached our maximum.

FALL 2017 Student Teachers!!! The application to student teach will close on Wednesday. Please log into EKU Direct and complete the application if you are planning to student teach during the fall and graduate in December. This is the only way to submit your information for placements for your professional semester.

All students will be invited by email to participate in a Campus Safety Climate Survey. You will receive a link to the Survey from "EKU Office of Institutional Research" on Feb. 15, with reminder emails to follow. The Survey will be open through March 22. The Survey will examine your attitudes toward EKU's safety climate, as well as your experiences with bullying, alcohol, sexual misconduct and other topics. Please participate! Also, be on the lookout in your email for opportunities and instructions to win FREE PRIZES if you complete the survey.

The Vagina Monologues is EKU Women and Gender Studies' annual activist event to assist Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center, Hope's Wings Domestic Violence Program, and the V-Day Foundation.Feb 15th, 16th,and 17th. Before and after each performance, we will be offering t-shirts, buttons, and our ever-popular chocolate vagina pops for sale in the lobby sponsored by The Alphabet Center. Box office opens at 6pm each day of the performance. On Thursday, February 16, ASL interpreters will be present.

A Plastic Ocean is a new feature-length adventure documentary that brings to light the consequences of our global disposable lifestyle. During its four-year production period, A Plastic Ocean was filmed in 20 locations around the world in beautiful and chilling detail to document the global effects of plastic pollution–and introduce workable technology and policy solutions that can, if implemented in time, change things for the better. The Office of Admissions is currently seeking to hire student(s) to work with our International Admissions Advisor. Job duties will include, but not limited to, making contact with prospective students through multiple channels. These may include email, telephone, Skype, Webinars, videos, flyers, brochures, etc. Topics range from inquiries about the University's admission requirements, scholarships, and student life to sharing information about student life at EKU with prospective students.
