The Big E Transit will continue to operate the Orange Route 5 on it's regular schedule on Sunday, March 12th and Sunday March 19th during the EKU Spring Break. The Orange Route 5 provides transportation from Todd Hall/Whitlock, Ashland/ Vickers Lot to Richmond Center/Meijer and the Wal-Mart Superstore. schedule information is available at parking@eku.edu .

Orientation Leader Overview -- An Orientation Leader (OL) is a current, fulltime undergraduate student that serves as a student mentor and guide for first year students and transfer students during the summer before their first semester on campus. An OL assists students and parents during orientation sessions by giving tours, hosting panel discussions and answering a variety of questions regarding campus life. They are paid for training and orientation sessions. Orientation Leaders will be given summer housing as well as a uniform. Any interested candidate cannot enroll in summer courses.

The EKU VETS Club will be collecting donations for the recent tornado victims of Estill County from March 8-10 from 8:00-4:30 pm. More than 25 homes were severely damaged or destroyed. Items most needed include tarps to cover exposed roofs and storage bins to store items and keep them from exposure to further damage and weather. Those wishing to donate can drop items off at the Burnam House, located at 317 Lancaster Ave. next to Irvine McDowell Park. Thank you!

Campus Recreation is offering a six-week program geared toward participants of all fitness levels. For $15, you get 6 sessions and for $30, you get 12 sessions with a certified personal trainer. Each session is one hour in length and will utilize equipment on the fitness floor. The group will be capped at five participants, so each participant will receive individualized workouts while also enjoying a team-oriented environment. Session offerings are listed below. Do you like homemade items, but hate paying the prices for them on Etsy? Then come by Powell corner tomorrow from 11-1 to buy homemade knitted and crocheted items at college student prices. Some of the items we have are coin purses, ear warmers, dish cloths, dice bags, and other various items. Sadly, we can only accept cash at this time. The proceeds will be going toward buying new yarn and knitting/crocheting needles for our club.
