SGA Elections are today! Polls are open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Students can vote by going to the EKU homepage from any computer or at the SGA Office in Powell 132. Every student enrolled for credit at EKU is eligible to vote in SGA elections. Be sure to vote for your future Student Government representatives. Come join Adventure Programs as we take a day trip to the Red River Gorge for a great day of climbing. No matter your skill level beginner, intermediate or advanced we will find something awesome for you to climb. Adventure Programs will provide all the necessary equipment and transportation.

At this week's College Democrats meeting we'll have a guest speaker from the grassroots advocacy group Kentuckians for the Commonwealth (KFTC). We'll be discussing the defeat of the Republican Healthcare bill, College Dems T-shirts, our upcoming events like our Trivia Night, and our Wednesday Buffalo Wild Wings Fundraiser. Throw on your favorite throwback outfit and join us for Decades Bingo! Ten rounds of bingo for retro prizes like a Space Invaders game, tamagotchis, tie dye and more. Students wearing throwback outfits will receive one extra card and be entered into a costume contest for an additional prize. Be there or be square.

Do you have fitness-related questions? Attend tonight's Q + A session with Certified Personal Trainers to hear fitness myths busted, as well as learn new ways to get fit and stay healthy!

Volunteers are needed for a variety of short shifts preparing for the State Science Fair and at the State Fair from March 30 through April 1. Friday volunteers are needed to assist with setup, safety inspections of displays and registration. Saturday volunteers are needed to help with safety checks, registration, distributing lunch, assisting with award prep, and making our campus guests feel welcome. We will provide letters documenting your service or organizational service upon request, and Saturday volunteers can receive a t-shirt and lunch. The Kentucky Science and Engineering Fair is one of the best opportunities to showcase our campus and the work of Kentucky’s best and brightest students in grades 5-12. This is truly a remarkable experience for all.

The College of Justice & Safety is hosting Dr. Raymond Michalowski, Arizona Regents Professor at Northern Arizona University, as part of its newly reinstated Dean's Speaker Series. Michalowski will address both the ethical and legal ramifications of the current administration's immigration policies and offer alternative insights.

The EKU Guitar Ensemble will perform works for jazz, classical and contemporary guitar on March 28, at 7:30 p.m. in Gifford Theater. This concert will feature hard-swinging jazz arrangements by Chris Buzzelli and rock, jazz and fusion selections by Mike Stern, Pat Martino, and Pat Metheny, The acoustic set includes compositions by Johannes Brahms, Claude Debussy, and Joaquín Turina. Select soloists will be featured and every concert includes some vintage rock & blues selections. This concert is free and everyone is invited!
