Parking Enforcement Begins First Day of Classes
Enforcement of parking zone restrictions begins Aug. 21. Fire lanes, accessible spaces and right-of-way paths in lots and on roadways will be strictly enforced, with an immediate tow.
Solar Eclipse Safety
Monday afternoon presents a unique opportunity to view a partial solar eclipse. Do not look directly at the Sun without special-purpose solar filters, eclipse glasses or a handheld solar viewer.
Traffic & Crosswalk Safety
Park Drive is now closed to through traffic with a 3-way stop at the intersection of Kit Carson Drive and Park Drive. Please adjust your vehicular travels to the main roads around campus and avoid traveling on Kit Carson Drive during peak pedestrian usage.
Motorists must yield to pedestrians while they are in the crosswalk. Pedestrians should pay attention and eliminate all distractions, including cell phones.

Last year, EKU Mock Trial had a historic year, culminating in a 15th-place finish at the AMTA National Championship Tournament. Will we be able to top that performance? That depends on you!
Come to the Noel Studio Discovery Room at 4pm on Tuesday 8/22 or Wednesday 8/23, and hear about the EKU Mock Trial experience from students and faculty.
Students selected for the team will earn course credit (POL 466, 2 credits per semester) while traveling the country and competing as attorneys and/or witnesses. Audition signups will be available at the meeting, and auditions will take place Thursday 8/24 and Friday 8/25.
