EKU Special Collections and Archives (SCA) features extended hours on Thursdays (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.) to best serve our campus and community patrons. Come by and utilize the vast collection of historical publications, manuscripts, photographs, and more. Do you find yourself struggling with body image, healthy eating, and/or dangerous weight loss habits? This group provides support and psychoeducational information to address these challenges. Wrapping up our recruitment events, our chapter will be holding a service night, where we'll be making flashcards for Kiddos Camp. Kiddos Camp is a program held by Golden Key in Atlanta each summer that focuses on helping underprivileged youth improve their academic performance. Come out for some community service and free cookies!

The U.S. Department of State (DoS) Recruitment Officer for Kentucky will visit EKU for an official recruiting visit. As part of the visit, the Recruitment Officer will provide information on DoS student internships and careers related to foreign service, executive protection/diplomatic security, and intelligence. The recruiter is also a DoS Senior Foreign Service Officer and will answers any questions the audience may have about the DoS. The recruiting visit will be conducted in two separate, but identical sessions. Each session will include information on DoS student internships and careers followed by a Q&A session. Below are the times for each session. 2:00 PM – 3:15 PM: Session One
3:15 PM – 3:30 PM: Break
3:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Session Two Refreshments will be provided to all attendees.

10v10 Softball REGISTRATION ENDS TONIGHT! Register to join or create a team to play in this year’s softball season! Get 10 of your best friends and come to the Intramural Fields for some softball fun. Players defend the diamond from batters who are hitting softballs all over the field. Opponents must pitch underhand so there is no shortage of offense in this game. There will be leagues for all divisions and games begin September 4th! Registration Deadline: August 30th

Do you make crafts or sell handmade goods? The Office of Sustainability is recruiting vendors for the 2nd Annual #EKULocal Festival. Registration is FREE and includes a 10' x 10' space, one 6' table, and 1 chair. Last year we had over 200 guests and 30 vendors at the event that highlights the importance of small local businesses and sustainable goods. This year, we're aiming higher!
