All this week the members of Alpha Phi Omega (APO) have been hosting their recruitment events. If you have come to our events and are interested in becoming a member, or if you still want more info, come to Middle Powell on Saturday Sep. 9th at 7:00pm. APO is a co-ed service based organization. Ceremony attire is business casual. The event itself is free, however a membership fee does apply. This fee will be discussed on site, but you do not need to bring money with you. We will be meeting in Middle Powell at 7:00pm and the ceremony will start at 8:00pm. Afterwords, we typically go to dinner at a local restaurant. Please contact Jacob Knox if you are not part of the email list and would like more information about the ceremony. Jacob will also address any questions you may have.

The Trail is a 34.3-mile rail-to-recreation trail, traversing through two counties from Abingdon, Virginia, through Damascus, and ending just past Whitetop Station! All Campus Recreation Adventure Program Trips include food, transportation and all gear necessary for the adventure. Time of departure is dependent upon your schedule. We also can assist with any dietary restriction to ensure you have the best trip possible. All trips are student run by certified medically trained guides and on all of our trips no experience is necessary. If you want to try something new and different checkout Adventure Programs! The cost for this adventure is only $100!

If you are planning to complete your professional semester with student teaching, the online application is open until September, 15th 2017. You must complete the application and pick a school district for a first preference within the EKU Service Region. If you want to teach outside our area, a waiver must be completed. Background Checks, Physical, TB Risk Assessment, KET Positive Behavior modules and Professional Liability Insurance must all be completed and documents brought to Combs 427 by October 15, 2017.
