There will be an outdoor showing of the movie Apollo 13 and telescopes available for viewing the night sky with EKU Physics & Astronomy Professor, Dr. Marco Ciocca. Auditions for EKU Theatre's next production: John Hughes' Love's Labour's Lost will be held Sunday October 1 and Monday October 2. Auditions are open to all and no experience is required. If you have a Shakespeare monologue to share, please do. Otherwise, you'll be given text to read. Sunday's auditions are drop in. Monday's auditions are by appointment. Join us as we celebrate the rich culture and heritage of Appalachia during our inaugural Appalachian Heritage Festival. There will be various exhibits, speakers, and showcases beginning Wednesday, October 4th thru Friday, October 6th culminating in a performance on the Appalachian Music Stage from Old Towne and Mitch Barrett.
