Do you still need one credit hour? The third section of REC 101 (Recreation & Tourism Careers) begins October 31st. This partial term course is an introduction to the broad scope of careers and employment in recreation, park and tourism services. Students will have the chance to explore various employment opportunities and career paths they may not have known were out there! The class meets Tues./Thurs. from 3:30pm-4:45pm beginning October 31.

Looking for fall break plans? Check out this awesome opportunity to meet new people, go hiking in one of America's best outdoor recreation areas, and help with trail building! From October 14-17, explore the Daniel Boone National Forest near Stearns, Kentucky. This is a dedicated Kentucky Trail Town. This is a great opportunity for all First-Year students to make new friends and explore the beautiful scenery that Kentucky has to offer, while giving back! It is an especially great opportunity for those wishing to study Recreation and Park Administration, Wildlife Management, Biology, and a host of other majors, as we will be working in the field with professionals from the National Forest Service.
