Do you still need one credit hour? The third section of REC 101 (Recreation & Tourism Careers) begins October 31st. This partial term course is an introduction to the broad scope of careers and employment in recreation, park and tourism services. Students will have the chance to explore various employment opportunities and career paths they may not have known were out there! The class meets Tues./Thurs. from 3:30pm-4:45pm beginning October 31.

Come join Adventure Programs on a weekend of fun riding and hiking in Ocoee, TN. All Campus Recreation Adventure Program Trips include food, transportation and all gear necessary for the adventure. Time of departure is dependent upon your schedule. We also can assist with any dietary restriction to ensure you have the best trip possible. All trips are student run by certified medically trained guides and on all of our trips no experience is necessary. If you want to try something new and different checkout Adventure Programs! What: The Division of Natural Areas will host Saturday Morning Science program where students participate in interactive, hands-on learning experiences. When: Nov 4, 11, 18 and Dec 2, 9, and 16 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Students can sign up for one or more sessions. Who: It is designed for students in grades 1 through 5.

Where: EKU New Science Building, Rm 3119 Cost: $40 per student with discounts for multiple students from 1 family and discounts for attending multiple sessions. All proceeds benefit students enrolled in the International Environmental Service Learning program What to expect: Each session will include a team building experience, hands-on science, math and/or engineering activities, a healthy snack and outdoor science action.
