Tonight, AVOL will be visiting The Alphabet Center to provide free HIV testing, as well as an STI prevention workshop that is also free for students to attend. The event will begin tonight, November 9th, at 8:00pm in Weaver 305.

Join us on Powell Corner for the Great American Smokeout! The annual event occurs on the third Thursday of November with a focus on encouraging current smokers to make a plan to quit smoking. The event will be held on November 16th from 9:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. We will have delicious food, and FREE long and short sleeve t-shirts! Hope to see you there!

Military & Veterans Affairs is parking a white, four-door Ford F-150 truck in front of the Burnam House again for the 3rd Annual Hunger Awareness Food Drive. Community members can easily drop off food and toiletry donations to benefit Colonel’s Cupboard. Help fill the truck November 13-17, Mon-Fri, 8-6pm in front of the Burnam House on Lancaster Avenue. “Take that little bit of extra stress off that student’s plate and replace with food instead.” •1 in 6 EKU students experience food insecurity during the first semester on campus;
•21% of EKU students might need food assistance at some point during their college experience; and
•10% of EKU students could benefit from regular food pantry assistance. Donations accepted across campus throughout November!
