Conference content will address issues in education from K-12 to higher education. A keynote luncheon address will be offered by Dr. Deneese Jones who is the VP of Academic Affairs/Provost at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. She will be discussing diversity and leadership in higher education. Additionally, breakout sessions will be offered in the following five areas:

All students will be invited by email to participate in a Campus Safety Climate Survey. You will receive a link to the Survey from "EKU Office of Institutional Research" on Feb. 14, with reminder emails to follow. The Survey will be open through March 30. The Survey will examine your attitudes toward EKU's safety climate, as well as your experiences with bullying, alcohol, sexual misconduct and other topics. Please participate! SENIORS!! To be eligible for Fall 2018 student teaching, you MUST complete an online application. The application will automatically open at midnight on February 1st and close at midnight on February 15th. The application will be on EKU Direct under the Student Services and Financial Aid tab. It will be the 10th folder. Once you have submitted the forms, go to the board of education at the county of your FIRST preference and have a background check completed.
