Want to hone your problem solving and communication skills in order to become a better leader? The members of Alpha Phi Omega, a nationally recognized Co-Ed Service Fraternity, is holding its LEADERSHIP Night tonight in the Library! Come out and have some fun participating in some fun, unique activities geared to building your leadership skills! Absolutely no commitment is required for coming to the event! We do not require any certain dress code and no up-front fees!
We are a community for any and all who are looking to develop themselves as future leaders through community service events and leadership building activities. We hope to see you there! Dewey Pope ’79 will discuss his book, "Action Unlimited: The Band of Gold." The book tells the story of the musical journey taken by a group in the mid-sixties to California. The group was affiliated with Dick Clark, played Las Vegas and the west coast club circuit and was signed by a major record label. Action Unlimited got its start at Eastern Kentucky University as “The Maroons” and was one of the groups that played at the popular Richmond club, Speck’s.
