The student-athletes have partnered with the Kentucky Blood Center to host a blood drive next week. They are VERY LOW on inventory this year. As a matter of fact, they have lost over 400 pints of blood due to snow cancellations and on top of this, they had 500 more transfusions from hospitals than what they collected just last week. Our goal is to collect 60 pints on FEBRUARY 7th! The Kentucky Blood Center will be in the Auxiliary Gym of Alumni Coliseum on the second floor (concourse level) between 10:00am and 4:30pm. Your blood donation could mean saving the life of a fellow Kentuckian! Sign up today through the following link! All donors will receive a FREE T-Shirt as well! Also, please pass this email on to your friends, family, and fellow students within our community! We hope to raise as much awareness as possible and exceed our goal of 60 pints!
