If you are planning to complete your professional semester with student teaching, the online application is open until February 15th, 2018. You must complete the application and pick a school district for a first preference within the EKU Service Region. If you want to teach outside our area, a waiver must be completed. Background checks, Physical, TB Risk Assessment, KET Positive Behavior modules and Professional Liability Insurance must all be completed and documents brought to Combs 427 by March 15th, 2018.

The election has been called for February 27, 2018. Kelly Smith is a librarian here at EKU, a political activist for her area, and an experienced progressive. Does your student organization plan on requesting funding from SGA this semester? A mandatory informational meeting will be held Tuesday, Feb. 6th for registered student organizations who are interested in applying for SGA Funding for the Spring semester. Although this meeting is optional for advisors, a student member of the organization must attend. During this mandatory meeting, all relevant dates will be provided and rules for applying for funding will be discussed.

Alpha Gamma Delta is hosting spring recruitment on February 7th and 8th in the North Hall Classroom from 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm both nights.

All students will be invited by email to participate in a Campus Safety Climate Survey. You will receive a link to the Survey from "EKU Office of Institutional Research" on Feb. 14, with reminder emails to follow. The Survey will be open through March 30. The Survey will examine your attitudes toward EKU's safety climate, as well as your experiences with bullying, alcohol, sexual misconduct and other topics. Please participate! Also, be on the lookout in your email for opportunities and instructions to win FREE PRIZES if you complete the survey.

Prerequisite OTS 205 or departmental approval.
Introduction to Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT). The history and application of EAAT and the general emotional, physical and medical benefits of EAAT for individuals with diverse needs. This course provides hands on activities with a local program. Course Dates and Time: March 19th - May 11th Tuesday/Thursday 5:00pm-7:45pm
