Hello! EKU's literary and arts magazine, The Aurora, is accepting submissions until March 9th! If you write, draw, take photos, or make music and short films you can submit to our magazine. This is a great opportunity to be published. Winners of each category are eligible for a cash prize!

The EKU McNair Scholars Program – a federal graduate school preparation program - is recruiting academically talented students aiming for doctorate degrees. Program activities include faculty mentoring, a fall colloquium, a spring research class, a paid summer-long research internship, presentations at national conferences, GRE preparation, graduate school application support, graduate school application fee waivers, an EKU scholarship, and graduate level assistantships and fellowships at leading universities. All activity and conference travel expenses paid by the program. Applicants must be first-generation students from low-income backgrounds and / or Black, Hispanic, Native-American or Pacific Islander. Eligible students who will be sophomores, juniors and seniors in the FALL 2018 semester may apply. Contact Debbie Sowers at 622-6268 to schedule an informational interview.

ALERT: Telemarketing Sales Scam (Copier Toner)
A number of departments have recently received phone calls from a salesperson appearing to be associated with our current copier program. In some instances the salesperson will have departmental information and ask if you would like toner cartridges for your equipment. Please be advised that calls of this nature are NOT associated with the University or any approved University vendor. This is a telemarketing scam. These cartridges are NOT free. You will be invoiced for a significant amount. Please refer these calls to the Purchasing Office, 622-2246.

EKU Football is currently looking for student managers! These positions provide great experience for those looking to enter coaching or athletic administration careers. Perks include:
- Assisting coaching staff with practice + drills
- Traveling with the football team
- Receiving team-issued gear
