This Wednesday at EKU we are having a Wake for Higher Education in The Ravine from 4pm until Midnight! Any and all are welcome and you may come and go as you please! There will be performances, art demonstrations, an art sale, poetry and eulogy readings, and much more during the wake! YOU can also perform, read, or demonstrate during that time as well! We are excited to announce that we are bringing in some really big names from the video game industry to speak and provide insights and feedback during Vector 2018. Additional highlights include a multiplayer party Friday night and a $500 pitch contest Saturday afternoon. Come and practice your Spanish skills for one hour in an activity that is open to all EKU students and faculty on campus. The last Mesa de español of this semester is happening this Wednesday April 18 in McCreary Hall 115 at 3:00PM. Our guest this Wednesday is Kendra Williams who will be taking about her experience in Puebla, Mexico.

Alpha Psi Omega, EKU’s Honors Theatre fraternity, presents “Nonstop Cabaret”! APO hosts monthly Cabarets to showcase talent across campus and they’ve only got one more this season! Come out and enjoy a night of Poetry, Music, Wrestling, and most of all, Theatre! APO will be taking donations at the event, all of which will go to producing more theatre at EKU.

The Department of Philosophy & Religion will soon be merging with the Department of History to form a new department. This informational session is open to current students majoring or minoring in one of the Philosophy & Religion programs (Philosophy, Religion, Applied Ethics) and to students who are interested in majoring or minoring in Philosophy or minoring in Applied Ethics. We will address questions or concerns about how this merger will affect students, and how our major and minors can help you reach your personal and professional goals. We would also like to hear any ideas you might have for future activities and events. Light refreshments will be provided.

EKU Sports says It's On Us!! Come out early to Saturday's double header against UT Martin to take the pledge to intervene & create a campus climate where sexual assault/violence is not acceptable & survivors are supported. The first 100 attendees will receive an It's On Us t-shirt! Also, be sure to listen for our facts and information about sexual violence periodically though out the game.

Come travel with Campus Recreation to Obed, Tennessee to explore several different types of climbing! Tennessee has various hotspot climbing varieties including: trad climbing, sport climbing, and bouldering. All Campus Recreation Adventure Program Trips include Food, Transportation and all Gear necessary for the adventure. We also can assist with any dietary restriction to ensure you have the best trip possible. All trips are student run by certified medically trained guides. The cost for this adventure is only $80

Join us TOMORROW for EKU's second annual Earth Day Festival from 4:30-7:30 PM in the Keen Johnson Building Plaza and Ravine. Bring your hammock, frisbee, friends, and family! The festival will feature live music by Brother Smith, local environmental organizations, food vendors, several fun activities, and much more. See you there!
