Come join graduate students, Amanda Dunaway and Chelsea Hinton, to hike the grassy paths of EKU’s natural area Taylor Fork Ecological Area to learn how to identify common species of butterflies, moths and bees. The hike will be on Wednesday April 25 at 4:30 pm and will last about 1 hour. Please RSVP to kaitlyn_kelly32@mymail.eku.edu.

Commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the Great War’s end with the unveiling of a new exhibit from Special Collections & Archives: "100 Years Later: Remnants of the Great War." Items on display include correspondence, newspaper advertisements, military papers, and even a uniform. The exhibit was curated by Gabi (Cook) Zdrojowy ’16, Special Collections & Archives student employee alumna. Light refreshments will be served.

EKU's Alpha Psi Omega is selling EKU Theatre merchandise to raise money for Summer Shakespeare in the Ravine! Any item or donation purchased through this site will go directly toward funding the 2018 Summer Shakespeare in the Ravine. This summer's production is Romeo and Juliet. EKU recently suspended the Theatre Program so supporting the arts is more important than ever! Summer Shakespeare is free of cost for anyone who attends. We hope to see you there this summer for Romeo and Juliet, July 19-21st. In the meantime, buy a t-shirt and have is shipped directly to you!

Join us as we celebrate the success of our advocacy and awareness campaign and the strength of survivors by welcoming Attorney General Andy Beshear to EKU!! Attorney General Beshear is an outspoken advocate for survivors seeking justice and a champion for prevention and prosecution of campus sexual assault and violence. Attorney General Beshear will speak on sexual violence and prevention, as well as announce the total number of pledges we received over the course of the It's On Us Pledge Drive. Come early or stick around after to participate in the Women and Gender Studies annual Clothesline Project as well. *Walnut Hall in Keen Johnson will serve as the alternate location if there is inclement weather.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Show your support to end sexual violence and join the It's On Us Campaign! Take the pledge at itsonus.org. Also, you can stop by our “pop-up” pledge stations today from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm in Case Dining, Whitlock, Campus Rec, and Combs Plaza and receive a campaign shirt while supplies last. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!! Join EKU's Office of Sustainability, Division of Natural Areas, Biological Sciences, Facilities Services, and the American Chestnut Foundation as we continue our commitment to the reintroduction of the American Chestnut to North America! We will be planting seeds, weeding, and cleaning up the area! Make sure to bring your lunch and wear long pants, gloves, and closed-toed shoes (boots work best!) for your protection.
