The Colonel's Cupboard will operate on normal hours through December 18th, 2018. After that, the Cupboard will be closed with the university. The Cupboard is set to reopen on January 3rd, 2019. While the Cupboard is closed, students can obtain food boxes through EKU Housing (in open halls). Students in need of food before the break are encouraged to "Shop" in the Cupboard for any supplies they may need over the break.

The Vanderbilt Television News Archive, a collection of newscasts from major broadcasters dating back to August 5, 1968, is currently available to EKU students, faculty, and staff on a trial basis. The Savannah Cross and Fred C. Short Endowed Scholarship will award two-$2,500 scholarships for the spring. Eligibility requirements: • freshman or sophomore in Elementary Education
• 3.2 GPA
• Preference for first generation college students
• Special preference for students from Pulaski County
