Scholarship Opportunities Now Available for Graduate and Undergraduate College of Education Students
Applications are now being accepted for the 2019-2020 College of Education Scholarships Program. Scholarship descriptions, application instructions, and required application forms are available at https://coe.eku.edu/Student-Scholarships.
Students who will be enrolled in Fall 2019 or who have applied for admission in Fall 2019 are eligible to apply for College of Education Scholarships. All information will be verified and only complete applications will be considered.
Application materials are due on or before February 28, 2019.

Calling all student artists! You are invited to submit your original artwork to the annual Library Student Art Exhibit. Accepted pieces will be on display in the Main Library during the month of March and included in the People's Choice Awards competition on the EKU Libraries Facebook page. First, second, and third place awards will also be available and will be chosen by a Library committee. The winners of the People's Choice Award and first-place award will have their art featured on limited edition posters available to students in the fall.

It's a great time of year to hear woodcock calling and to see their amazing display flights at Taylor Fork Ecological Area. They begin calling and displaying after sunset, as it’s getting dark. They’ll begin flying and whirring their wings with a buzzy display flight. Binoculars are not necessary. The trip will take approximately one hour.
Please dress for the weather. The paths are mowed, you will require sturdy walking shoes.
Directions: Taylor Fork Ecological Area is adjacent to south campus. Take Kit Carson Dr to McKinney Skills Dr, then follow the dirt road on the right through the gate. SENIORS!! To be eligible for Fall 2019 student teaching, you MUST complete an online application. The application will automatically open at midnight on February 1st and close at midnight on February 15th. The application will be on EKU Direct under the Student Services and Financial Aid tab. It will be the 10th folder. Once you have submitted the forms, go to the board of education at the county of your FIRST preference and have a background check completed. Are you wanting to get into game development but not sure where to start? Look no further than the Global Game Jam! During this 48-hour event, participants are tasked with creating a game based on a mystery theme. Developers of all skill levels are welcome, and of course free food will be available throughout the weekend!
For those participating in the jam and wanting to learn some development tips beforehand, Game & Dev will be hosting workshops on January 24th at 6pm.
