As a reminder, EKU students are now required to have their ID Card to check into the Fitness & Wellness Center. With a new system, only the updated blue ID Cards will work. A strike policy has been implemented since December, "allowing" you to forget your ID Card 3 times to gain access into the facility. After that, you will absolutely need your ID Card to check in. If you do not have an ID Card, please visit the Office of University Card Services in Downstairs Powell, next to Starbucks.

The College of Letters, Arts, & Social Sciences (CLASS) is offering a $500 stipend to a graduating student to present a commencement speech at the Spring 2019 Graduation Ceremony. To be eligible, you must have applied for Spring or Summer 2019 Graduation within CLASS.
•Speeches should be about 4-5 minutes in length, which is about 3-4 pages of double-spaced text.
•MSWord or Rich Text Format, double-spaced, in 12-point Times New Roman font, with normal one-inch margins
•At the top of text please include full name, EKU ID number, major, expected degree, and department.
Submit speeches before the end of the day Friday, March 22nd, by sending an e-mail attachment of the text to Dr. Amy Thieme at amy.thieme@eku.edu.
Interviews with finalists will be Wednesday, April 3rd.

Enter your research project in the 2019 Library Research Award for Undergraduates competition by March 18 for your chance to win a cash prize.
Made possible by the Friends of EKU Libraries, this award recognizes and awards undergraduate students whose research makes expert and creative use of the services, resources, and collections of EKU Libraries to produce a scholarly or creative work.
