Hello guys, gals, and non-binary pals. The Alphabet Center will be hosting Jim Thacker, who will present a discussion about safe sex and other sex related questions within the LGBTQ+ community. No need to feel shy or embarrassed in this safe place. It will be held in Weaver 305 from 8-10pm. Come with an open mind and questions.

Tonight at 9:30 in the Weaver Dance Studio there will be free ballroom dancing lessons for EKU students and community members. This event is informal, and you do not need a partner. Newcomers are welcome and encouraged to come! We hope to teach the basics of waltz, cha cha, and hustle!!! Please send an email if you have any questions.

We are hosting a Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament in room 229 of the University Building. There will be both a free bracket and paid bracket with cash payout. Feel free to bring your own controller or use one of the club provided controllers. Setups will be available for free play when they are not needed for tournament matches.

Explore the darker and lighter sides of Irish literature on site in Ireland. This class delves into both the darker writing of Irish Gothic writers (like Bram Stoker and Oscar Wilde) and the lighter and satirical literature of Irish authors like Jonathan Swift. Gain insights into the literature while traveling through the inspirational Irish countryside and sampling the popular culture of Ireland in pubs and concerts, cathedrals and castles. By immersing yourself in the cultural and physical environment of modern Ireland, you will deepen your understanding of the conditions that resulted in the glorious Irish literary tradition.
