Tonight starting at 8:30 PM in the Weaver Dance Studio there will be a free ballroom dancing lesson for EKU students and community members. This event is informal, and you do not need a partner. Newcomers are welcome and encouraged to come. We will be focusing on foxtrot during this lesson, but there will be exposure to many other ballroom dances too. Do you know what to do in a chemical emergency? A chemical weapons destruction plant has been built, at the Blue Grass Army Depot, with operations set to begin by mid-2019. The Department of Criminal Justice Training is an agency within the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Justice and Public Safety Cabinet.The DUI Section trains police recruits and veteran officers in Breath Testing and DUI Field Sobriety Testing. As part of their training, we ask participants to drink regulated amounts of alcohol (Jim Beam, Smirnoff Vodka, and Bacardi Rum are currently available) to demonstrate how the alcohol impacts an individual during field sobriety tests. •Must be a minimum age of 21 and be approved through a questionnaire before being allowed to attend.
•Each participant will arrive between 11:15 and 11:30 a.m. on their scheduled date and will not be permitted to leave the premises until they record a .00 breath test result. Most individuals leave between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. •Participants will also receive $100.00 for their service as well as dinner.

Did you know your Vet-Success Counselor visits the Stratton Building, every Thursday from 1:00 to 2:30 pm, to answer all your VA benefit related questions? Steve Johnson will be at the Stratton Building today starting at 1:00 pm, so he can answer benefit questions, assist with tutoring help, give assistance through the food pantry, and any other needs you have on campus. Additionally, if you are running out of Post 911 benefits and have a service connected disability, he can assist with another program. Come see what all the fuss is about and learn about women's experiences from all over the world! The 15th annual EKU Vagina Monologues will be staged nightly, February 27, February 28, and March 1, 2019, in O’Donnell Hall of the Whitlock Building. Merchandise (buttons, t-shirts, and chocolate pops) will be sold by the Alphabet Center before each performance. All proceeds from tickets, merchandise, and donations will go to Ampersand Sexual Violence Resources Center of the Bluegrass, Hope’s Wings Domestic Violence Shelter, and the V-Day Foundation. On each night, tickets go on sale in the box office at 6:00 p.m., doors open at 6:30, and the show starts at 7:00. The February 28 performance includes ASL interpretation.
