Due to the predicted storms for tomorrow, the frog watch nature walk will be rescheduled for Tuesday, April 30 at 5:30.
So next Tuesday come join Isaac Bentley for an evening of outdoor adventure to learn about our amphibian friends, toads and frogs! The frog watch will focus on identifying frogs by sight and sound! We will learn of common backyard frogs as well as ones you may find in the Kentucky wilderness. We will center our journey at the trails of Taylor Fork Ecological Area. Handouts will be provided at the event.Meet at the observatory deck at 5:30.

Hello guys, gals,non-binary pals and allies! The Alphabet Center and Student Life will hosting our 3rd annual PRIDE PROM!! The theme for Prom is Queer Icons, so anyone who has inspired you or gave you the courage to be your true self. Dressing up as those Icons are highly encouraged but not mandatory. Help us honor survivors and memorialize victims of interpersonal violence by attending the Clothesline Project and Take Back the Night. EKU holds these nationally celebrated activist events in order to educate the campus during Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month.
From noon until 9 p.m., the Clothesline Project will provide t-shirts for participants to design based on their own or their loved ones' experiences. The t-shirts are anonymous and hang on our clothesline all day for all passersby to view.
From 9 to 11 p.m., Take Back the Night features speakers from Ampersand Sexual Violence Resource Center of the Bluegrass (formerly BRCC) and Hope's Wings Domestic Violence Program; an open mic for survivors’ stories; a candlelight vigil for victims; and a march around campus for consciousness raising.
