The CIS Student Club is open to all EKU students. If you are interested in learning more about computers, please join us on Thursday. This semester, we are exploring Python 3 Programming, within the context of Machine Learning. Bring your laptop and join us.

We are happy to announce that the College of Business and Technology (CBT) is offering a $250 stipend to a graduating student to develop and give a speech at the Fall 2019 Graduation Ceremony! To be eligible the student must have applied for Fall or Winter 2019 Graduation within the College of Business and Technology. The committee is looking for a student willing to share their EKU experience. For instructions on how to apply, please follow the link on this announcement.

We spread positivity, kindness, and self-love. Each week we have a focus topic like dealing with stress, body image, etc. We try to do 1-2 service projects per semester. No meeting is required, it's come as you can. Stop by 323B in the library on Wednesday at 7 if you want to join a club geared toward inner and outward change.

The Department of History, Philosophy, and Religious Studies is sponsoring the EKU Bioethics Bowl. The Bioethics Bowl is a debate-style team competition focusing on ethical issues in the practice of medicine and/or biomedical research. The EKU Bioethics Bowl is open to teams of 3-5 EKU undergraduates from any major. 1st prize is $50 per team member and the chance to compete in the 2020 National Bioethics Bowl. 2nd prize is $25 per team member. Interested teams should send a list of team members to Laura Newhart at Laura.Newhart@eku.edu by October 12. Please consider participating in this fun and professionally valuable activity. The Department of History, Philosophy, and Religious Studies offers an 18 credit hour Minor in Applied Ethics.

Join EKU Campus Rec's Health Promotion team tonight for our Breast Cancer Awareness themed Wellness Wednesday in the "Champion Lounge" at the Rec from 5-7pm.
