Do you like to be creative? Are you inspired by history? Then apply for Archives After Dark, which will allow you to spend the night in the John Grant Crabbe Library to develop, write, and polish a creative work inspired by a historical item. Yes, that’s right, spend the night in the Main Library on January 24, 2020! The resulting product will be published, and students will be invited to share their product and experience during the 2020 Scholars Week. This opportunity is open to all majors. Last year's participants included Communication, Art, History, Nursing, Biomedical Science, Exercise Science, and English majors. The Colonel's Cupboard is a free resource for all EKU students, and we are hosting our annual November food drive! For this food drive, we would love to have partners from all over campus participate. It is a competition style food drive to see who can raise the largest amount of food in pounds! The department with the most food will receive a special prize to be announced later, as well as recognition on our website!

On October 9th from 7 to 9pm, we will be hosting an outdoor concert in the Ravine. Cotton candy and popcorn will be sold at the event in addition to other food vendors.
We will be tabling on October 8th and 9th outside of Case selling tickets in advance as well as hosting a raffle for a $30 Nuevos Gift Certificate.

Spend your winter break on the beach of Grand Isle, Louisiana! Work with the Nature Conservancy doing trail work, presenting to school children, and removing invasive species! You’ll get to spend a day in New Orleans, enjoy warmer weather, and have a great addition to your resume!
