Alpha Omicron Pi hosts their 27th annual Lip Sync benefiting the Arthritis Foundation. This event is coordinated by members of ΑΟΠ who have also been diligently coaching each of the 18 participating Greek chapters over the last two months. Spend your winter break on the beach of Grand Isle, Louisiana! Work with the Nature Conservancy doing trail work, presenting to school children, and removing invasive species! You’ll get to spend a day in New Orleans, enjoy warmer weather, and have a great addition to your resume! EKU Military & Veteran Affairs will host the National Roll Call on Monday, November 11 in honor of Veterans Day. The National Roll Call project is a national grassroots effort to make Veterans Day on every campus a special time of appreciation and reflection. The 2019 National Roll Call honors those who have served and are serving, as well as the fallen.
Volunteer readers will begin reading names at 6:00 am, and will read until all of the names of our fallen soldiers from recent military conflicts have been recognized. A bell will be sounded for soldiers from Kentucky. The formal Veterans Day ceremony will follow at 1:30 pm. Please join us as we honor and remember our military servicemembers and veterans.
