The Student Government Association is organizing a pop-up cultural art show today! Come out to Keen Johnson at 6:00pm to view incredible student artwork, eat free snacks and drinks, and win prizes.

In order to provide students in Spanish courses with more spaces to practice their language skills, the Languages, Cultures & Humanities Department is launching a new Spanish Film Series. The first film in the series is director Marc Silver and acclaimed actor Gael García Bernal's film "¿Quien es Dayani Cristal?" (Who is Dayani Cristal?). Films will be shown in their original language with English subtitles and will be briefly introduced by a faculty member. Following the movie there will be a short Q&A session. Every member of the EKU community is welcome!

The EKU Sports Analytics and Statistics Clubs are excited to host Dr. Nick Wan, who is a Data Scientist for the Cincinnati Reds. Dr. Wan will present a talk on Questions Above Replacement: Open Research Areas in Sports Analytics. The event is open to all students and faculty.

Dr. Timothy Smit will lead our final discussion of the semester on a topic in the history of the philosophy of science. What were the debates surrounding experiment and knowledge-making during the Scientific Revolution in the seventeenth century? Drawing on the book by Steven Shapin and Simon Schaffer of the same title, we will discuss factions of the Royal Society and their arguments about the connections (or lack thereof) between the new experimental science and natural philosophy.

Kappa Alpha Theta invites you to our first annual Mac N' Cheese Bar! Located in North Hall's Multipurpose Room and classroom, the KATs will be serving Mac N' Cheese with various toppings from 6 to 8pm. It is $3 for a bowl or $5 for unlimited!

Join us for this semester's edition of Speaking from the Margins:Appalachian Students. Hear from a panel of current students, alumni, and faculty as they discuss the unique experiences, successes, and challenges related to being an Appalachian student. The event will take place from 5:30-6:30pm in the Allen Auditorium (Room 108) in the John Grant Crabbe Main Library.
