On Wednesday, February 5th, 2020 Alpha Phi Sigma and Psi Chi are hosting an expert panel on family violence. The panel will begin at 11am in Stratton room 202. The panel will provide space for an open discussion with a range of professionals (family court judges, police officers, social workers, EKU professors, etc.) who have experience with the stigma and issues surrounding family violence. All students, professors, and faculty are invited to attend. The event is free to everyone. Refreshments will be provided.

The College of Science is looking for a student to deliver the commencement speech for the Spring 2020 graduation, to represent the college. If you would like to submit a speech for the student speaker the deadline is Friday, March 20th, and below is the information that you will need to submit one. The College of Science is offering a stipend, up to $500, to a graduating student to present a commencement speech at the Spring 2020 Graduation Ceremony. • You have to be a Spring or Summer 2020 graduate.
• Speeches should be about 5-6 minutes in length/4-6
pages of double-spaced text.
• At the top of your text, please include your full
name, EKU ID number, and major.
• Please include your schedule in the email, so we can
schedule a time for you to come in. They will be due on Friday, March 20, 2020, please email them to me, Jessica.hawksley@eku.edu
