On Wednesday, February 5th, 2020 Alpha Phi Sigma and Psi Chi are hosting an expert panel on family violence. The panel will begin at 11am in the Posey auditorium in Stratton. The panel will provide space for an open discussion with a range of professionals (family court judges, police officers, social workers, EKU professors, etc.) who have experience with the stigma and issues surrounding family violence. All students, professors, and faculty are invited to attend. The event is free to everyone. Refreshments will be provided.

This award, made possible by the Friends of EKU Libraries, recognizes students whose research makes expert and creative use of library services, resources, and collections to produce a scholarly or creative work. The award demonstrates the excellence of undergraduate research here at Eastern, as well as EKU Libraries’ contribution to that research. The First place award is $800, the Second place award is $500, and the Third place award is $300.

This workshop will introduce participants to Zotero, a tool to help organize and format sources. Participants will practice collecting sources through database searching.
