2PM- Peak Performance Join the staff of the EKU Counseling Center today for a workshop on how to improve your personal performance. When we are stressed, it can hard to operate at our best. When we are stressed and then have to complete tasks that will be graded or evaluated, it can feel impossible to be our best. This workshop focuses on ways to improve test anxiety, improving personal motivation for the things that need to get done, as well as how to set effective and attainable goals.

11AM- Mindfulness Join the staff of the EKU Counseling Center today for a workshop on Mindfulness. Being isolated in quarantine can lead to spending a lot of time on various activities that take your attention away from the present moment. Practicing mindfulness can be a great opportunity to improve your mental health by challenging yourself to be present and aware of your thoughts and feelings. In this workshop, you will learn tools that can help you practice mindfulness and work towards reducing and preventing stress, anxiety, depression, as well as many other concerns you may be experiencing.

Free QPR (Question, Persuade and Refer) Gatekeeper training for suicide prevention for faculty, staff and students will be offered via the secure platform, doxy.me. As a QPR-trained Gatekeeper, you will learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to help someone find the help they may need.
