The Student Success Center will be serving students all summer. Our tutoring and mentoring services with a Guru are online and available through appointment Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. To search for an appointment time, go to https://successcenter.eku.edu/ and click on “Online Appointments.” We do have coverage for most 100- and 200-level courses offered this summer, as well as many others. We are posting many of our workshops on our website, and our drop-in advisor is also available to help. Our space is currently closed, but you may contact us with questions at successcenter@eku.edu.

Join the EKU Counseling Center staff today for a workshop on Distress Tolerance. When life feels like you’re currently in the middle of an unfinished Jumanji game, your emotions can activate with a high degree of intensity. Changes in your daily routine and the people you’re around can lead to a mixture of emotions. These new experiences can be stressful. The tools provided in this workshop are aimed to provide you with skills to navigate these intense emotions and increase the positive experiences throughout your day.

Free QPR (Question, Persuade and Refer) Gatekeeper training for suicide prevention for faculty, staff and students will be offered via the secure platform, doxy.me. As a QPR-trained Gatekeeper, you will learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to help someone find the help they may need.
